WHO ARE WE?
SAMBA USA (DBA SAMBA HOUSTON) is a Nonprofit Organization 501(c)(3) that aims to
promote the Brazilian music, dance, and culture through classes, workshops and live performances.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We offer FREE samba percussion classes and NO EXPERIENCE is required.
You may choose one of the five most traditional samba instruments: surdo, tamborim, chocalho, caixa, or repique.
Classes are comprised of online workshops with acclaimed samba percussionists from Batuque Digital, as well as group practices on Saturdays.

Comprised of acclaimed conductors, aka “mestres”, and directors of the most traditional samba schools from Rio de Janeiro, Batuque Digital is one of the most respected samba percussion groups and music schools in Brazil.
